Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Chevening Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of a Chevening-eligible country.
- Return to Home Country: Scholars must commit to returning to their country of citizenship for at least two years after the scholarship ends.
- Education: Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree that qualifies them for entry into a postgraduate program at a UK university.
- Work Experience: A minimum of two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience is required.
- University Applications: Candidates must apply to three different eligible UK university courses and receive an unconditional offer from one of these choices by July.
