Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the King Saud University Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum overall grade of "Very Good."
- The high school diploma should not be older than five years.
- Applicants must be between 17 and 25 years of age.
- The applicant’s government must approve their study in Saudi Arabia (for countries that require such approval).
- Applicants should not have previously received a scholarship from any university or educational institution in Saudi Arabia.
- All certificates and documents must be authenticated by the relevant authorities as specified by the university.
- The applicant must provide a police clearance certificate from the security authorities in their home country.
- Applicants must pass the required medical examination and be medically fit to complete the program.
- Non-Arabic speaking applicants who are admitted to the first-year common track or bachelor’s degree programs must enroll in the Arabic Language Proficiency Diploma Program at the College of Languages and Translation. After successfully completing this program, they will be admitted to their chosen bachelor’s degree program.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- A colored copy of the original high school diploma.
- Colored copies of transcripts from grades 10, 11, and 12.
- All documents must be fully authenticated by:
- The Ministry of Education or equivalent authority in the country where the high school diploma was issued.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs or equivalent authority in the country where the high school diploma was issued.
- The submitted documents must be free of any alterations or corrections, and the applicant’s name must match the name on previous academic records and their passport.
- Incomplete applications or those not meeting the above requirements will be rejected.
